Don Barker was born and raised for most of his life in Virginia, now living in Blacksburg, VA.  Don was in multi-family management in the New River Valley for over 35 years  before making the transition to United Country Real Estate | Blue Ridge Land & Auction Co, Inc. . He has held a Virginia real estate license since 1987 and he is a licensed broker.  Don is a member of the National Association of Realtors and the New River Valley Association of Realtors. He enjoys the outdoors and his hobbies include camping, hiking, and backpacking. Don is also involved in his community, having served on a number of local boards and volunteering in the New River Valley and supporting local business.
